Rumour has it that a hideously mutated multi-coloured spider has been seen in Barking Forest, just to the south of Sizewell Nuclear power station on the Suffolk Coast. When top Nuclear Physicist Professor Vladimir Ilyich Trowzakov is found dead due to a massive dose of what appears to be spider venom, all of the local crazies get involved. From the Barking Spider, to Russian hit squads to Alien invasions, the two detectives have to sort the wood from the trees in Barking Forest.
