Not so Smartphone’s.

Smart…

Today, walking along south Sanur beach, close to the Mercure hotel I literally saw a one-armed man walking with a smartphone in his hand.

What would he do if he tripped?

What would be his reaction?

Faceplant and save the phone?

Drop the phone and save himself?

My mind boggled.

Maybe I am old and old-fashioned, but when I am walking I watch the footpath and the people and bicycles and dogs that move along this pathway. I sit down to check my phone… Am I a sad old git?

Meanwhile my favourite family were back at breakfast, silently scrolling their 5 phones. Not a word was said!

I have been a teacher all my life. That doesn't just mean in School! I taught my brothers to ride bikes and go camping in the mountains. I taught Football, Cricket, Squash, Sailing, Climbing and Karate. In BNI I became the Education Coordinator. With my Property Business I laid on Investment Seminars. I taught my sons to Fish for Carp. And I still teach Maths and Physics to students who want to go to University to study Medicine or Engineering. Now I am teaching people the things I am learning online.
