Fairy Hanny and the Knights in White Satin.
Yes I’ve been a bit quiet recently. I have just completed phase two of my latest book.
I am old fashioned.
Phase 1 is the handwritten version – preferably using pen and ink. It is full of side notes and sticky notes as ideas develop. Then phase two is the wordprocessing step – and I am slow at typing! I once hired someone to type up my notes but she couldn’t read my handwriting – and neither can I sometimes!
After Phase two I treat my creation like a pint of Guinness – after it’s been poured we have to give it a little time to settle before getting into it!
Phase 4 is check for spelling and typos and replace the abbreviations with proper phrases; For example in the latest thing I just kept typing KIWS for the Knights In WHite Satin. Then there was FH, FN, FT, and KAK – King Arthur King (it’s part of the joke).
Someone told me it is possible to get a tablet where I can write on the screen and it will change it to text. ANyone any ideas on that?
